Official rules
Eligibility
- Fanvious is for fans 13 and older. Fans 13–17 play with a pseudonymous teen account.
- Free to play. No purchase, wager or payment is ever required to enter or win.
- Teen accounts can earn recognition badges only — never cash, cash-equivalents or prizes of monetary value.
- Any future adult prize competitions will require separate age and jurisdiction verification and their own official rules.
Scoring
- Trivia: points per correct answer, scored instantly on our servers.
- Predictions: points are awarded only after an administrator certifies the real result.
- Verified check-ins: enter the code shown at the watch party or livestream. Five wrong tries locks the check-in.
- Each challenge can be completed once. Repeated or automated submissions are ignored or blocked.
Standings and tiebreaks
- Individual ranking: total points, then the fan who reached that total first, then the earliest entry.
- Fanbase ranking: average points per participating fan.
Playoffs
- When qualifying closes, top fans are seeded into a bracket using the published ruleset (top fans overall, or a guaranteed number per fanbase plus wildcards).
- Each match is decided by points scored in that round's challenge. Ties go to the higher seed.
- An administrator certifies every match. The champion receives the non-monetary Fan Champion badge.
Fair play
- No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, stalking or attempts to contact minors.
- No bots, multiple accounts or score manipulation. We may reverse points, disqualify entries and record the reason.
- Disputes can be raised with the organizer; outcomes are logged in our audit trail.
Independence
Fanvious is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any league, team or player. The pilot rivalry (Tigers vs. Jayhawks) is an unofficial fan competition between fanbases; no team names, logos or marks imply any partnership, and no logos are used.
